Post Up: Will to Win

Knicks 108 (15-18), Pistons 96 (17-15)

The New York Knicks took care of business at home when Ersan Ilyasova (19 points) and the Detroit Pistons came to visit. Derrick Williams scored 18 points off the bench with 16 coming in the fourth quarter alone, and Carmelo led all scorers with 24. Melo also made this kid really happy:

Hawks 121 (21-13), Rockets 115 (16-17)

The Atlanta Hawks overcame a 19 point deficit to steal a win from the Houston Rockets on the road. Al Horford led the Hawks with 30 points and 14 boards, Kent Bazemore added 26, while Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague contributed 22 points apiece. We aren’t sure what’s wrong with Kyle Korver though…the guy shot 0-11 from the field.

Grizzlies 99 (18-16), Heat 90 (18-13) OT

Marc Gasol scored 9 of his 23 points in the extra period on Tuesday night, as the Memphis Grizzlies put away the Miami Heat for a solid W. His and-1 gave his team a lead that lasted until the final buzzer. Zach Randolph finished with 17, and both Jeff Green and Mike Conley added 16 for the Grizz.

Thunder 131 (22-10), Bucks 123 (12-21)

Yep…that’s the score. No OT or anything. Russell Westbrook led the Thunder with 27 points, and Kevin Durant added 26 to send Giannis Antetokounmpo (27 points) and his Bucks home with a loss, despite Khris Middleton’s 36 points for the Deer.

Cavaliers 93 (21-9), Nuggets 87 (12-20)

The Cavaliers headed out west to Denver tonight to take on the Nuggets at the Pepsi Center. The Cavs left happy, as LeBron James poured in 34 points, claiming the Cavs their 21st win of the season.
