REPORT: Brook Lopez Returning to Bucks’ Lineup on Monday

After winning a championship last season, the Milwaukee Bucks have once again been spectacular this in the 2021-22 campaign. With a record of 42-26, their currently third in the Eastern Conference.

With that in mind, they’ve faced several major injuries. Most notably, starting center Brook Lopez has missed the entire season outside of opening night.

As first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Lopez is set to return back to the lineup on Monday against the Utah Jazz after an absence of three months following back surgery. He should be a huge piece defensively for the reigning champs, as the Bucks are outside of the top ten in defensive rating for the first time under coach Mike Budenholzer.

Last season Lopez played in 70 games (all starts), producing 12.3 points and 5.0 rebounds while knocking down 33.8% of his attempts from deep. Almost 34 years old, the one-time All-Star will be a huge help down the final stretch of the regular season and into the playoffs for Milwaukee.
