REPORT: Jazz Sign Marques Bolden and Malik Fitts to Training Camp Roster

The Utah Jazz reportedly maxed out their preseason roster at 20 players after adding forwards Marques Bolden and Malik Fitts to their roster just after training camp opened on Tuesday. This signing was reported by The Athletic’s Tony Jones.

Bolden averaged one point and 1.1 rebounds in seven career appearances for the Cleveland Cavaliers over the last two seasons while spending most of his time in the G-League. In his three seasons at Duke, he averaged 3.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 13.6 minutes per game.

Malik Fitts brings even less experience only playing three games for the Los Angeles Clippers averaging one point and one rebound. He appeared in 14 games (six starts) with the Agua Caliente Clippers in the G League, averaging 11.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

The Jazz currently have 14 players on guaranteed contracts entering the season. With both two-way contracts already occupied, there’s only one open roster spot heading into the season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
