Tyson Chandler has reached agreement on a four-year, $50 million-plus contract with the Phoenix Suns, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

After agreeing to the deal, Chandler joined the Suns in their recruiting pitch to Portland Trail Blazers’ free-agent LaMarcus Aldridge in Los Angeles, sources told Yahoo Sports.

Chandler can serve as a mentor for Alex Len, the No. 5 overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft.
