Spencer Dinwiddie To Sit Out League Restart

At the recommendation of team doctors, SpencerDinwiddie will sit out of the league’s restart at Disney World later this month. Shams Charania of The Athletic reports that the point guard recently diagnosed with COVID-19 will sit out of an abundance of caution.

The loss of Dinwiddie is the latest in a long line of them for Nets fans. The team will already be without Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, DeAndre Jordan and Wilson Chandler when play resumes.

Dinwiddie is in the midst of a career year for the franchise, averaging 20.6 points and 6.8 assists per game in 64 contests.

The injuries will make life difficult for the Nets as they hope to hold onto the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference.
