T.J. Warren Rehab Delayed, Now Out Indefinitely

The Indiana Pacers received some bad news on Tuesday regarding one of their leading scorers.

The Pacers announced on Tuesday that T.J. Warren’s rehab was not going as planned, and as a result, he will be out indefinitely.

Warren is rehabbing from a fractured left foot suffered during last season. The Pacers report that the stress fracture is healing, but “not at the pace previously expected.”

Warren took to Twitter to let Pacers fans know that he is committed to doing the “rehab process right.”

Warren only played in four games for the Pacers last season before his foot injury ended his season, but in 2019-20 Warren played in 67 games and averaged 19.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. Over his seven seasons in the NBA, Warren has averaged 15.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

The news comes at a difficult time for Indiana, with the start of training camp just three weeks away, beginning on Sept. 28.
