The D.A.Y. One of the NCAA tourney

By Sam Rubenstein

Fri-day!!!

Phoenix-Dallas hangover? Check.

Were there any NBA games last night? Um… Milwaukee handed San Antonio its first loss since the All-Star break getting 29 from Michael Redd in Larry Krystkowiak’s debut. The Heat kept their post-Wade winning streak alive by beating the Nets. The Nuggets pulled away from the Lakers in the second half, despite the return of Lamar Odom. Linus Kleiza is making a killing playing off the superstars, hitting 10 of 13 FG attempts and 5 of 6 threes on his way to 29 points.

But it was a night for college basketball, and the weekend should be fun. Lang is going to one of the sites where games are being played so hopefully he’ll have tons of content for you. I didn’t get to watch that much because I got home late and my “roommate” is a television hogging TYRANT.

We have exactly one perfect bracket in our collective yahoo-hosted tourneys and it belongs to Hersey’s Picks, whose name you might recognize from the Phoenix Suns blog, Ball Club. I thought the prize for winning the whole thing at the end would be an official SLAM headband, but there are some kinks in the pipeline. I’ve got to come up with something else.

By the way, two days ago I was outside in a short sleeved shirt with no problem and it was in the high 60s. Right now it’s snowing and its 30 degrees out there. That’s not natural.

Alright, I’m up early enough and done with this, so I can go to the gym before I have to be at the office without getting into trouble, and I’m taking advantage.
