Last week, former rookie of the year and newest member of the New Orleans Pelicans Tyreke Evans hosted the VSP Tyreke Evans Basketball Camp, his third annual basketball camp for disadvantaged youth. The free camp was held last week on the July 11 and 12 and provided 300 children, selected by the Treat’em Like a King Foundation, an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game from one the NBA’s best as well as receive a critical healthcare service in the form of a comprehensive eye exam.
