WATCH: Dwyane Wade Earns Win in Miami Return

Dwyane Wade returned to Miami on Thursday night for the first time since he signed with the Chicago Bulls, and walked away a winner.

Wade shot just 5 for 17 from the field for his 13 points in a 98-95 victory.

Hassan Whiteside led the Heat with a 20-point, 20-rebound performance.

Per the AP:

It was Wade’s first time facing the Heat as an opponent, and afterward he seemed more than a little relieved that this was over.

“I can only imagine what he was going through today,” Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg said. “A lot of emotions coming back here.”

“I thought I’d shoot better, since I’ve been knowing these rims for a while,” Wade said.
