Worthy of Your Attention

For all intents and purposes, tonight’s Game Five is the season for the Hornets.

A loss tonight, and they can pretty much kiss the series and their magical year goodbye; even they know that the odds aren’t exactly in their favor should they have to face an elimination game back in San Antonio.

With the pressure squarely on their young (and inexperienced) shoulders tonight, it’ll be interesting to see how they react.

After absorbing two consecutive beatdowns to start the series, Gregg Popovich and co. finally figured out that the way to beat the Hornets is to let Paul and West get theirs, while shutting everyone else down. Your move, Byron Scott.

(Oh yeah, I guess I should mention that Jameer Nelson and Rashard Lewis will be doing his best Joe Namath impersonations in Detroit tonight. Um, good luck with that, fellas.)
