Worthy of Your Attention

The San Antonio Spurs and New Orleans Hornets finished the regular season with identical records. And yet, should the Hornets win in San Antonio tonight, it will have to be considered a rather large upset.

Gregg Popovich, who Robert Horry says is the best coach he’s ever had, has his work cut out for him. Following Game Five, he did what any good coach would do following a crushing postseason defeat: complain about the free-throw disparity. Don’t be shocked if the Spurs are parading to the line all night long as a result.

It’s not going to be easy for the Hornets to eliminate the defending champs on their home floor, but New Orleans has gotten into the habit of doing the seemingly impossible.

And what better opportunity than this is there to prove that it is, in fact, possible to win on the road in these Playoffs?
