There are only three games on tap tonight, and two of them are borderline unwatchable. You have failed us, schedule makers.
Phoenix @ Utah: While Professor O’Neal continues to lecture on planetary motion, two of the best power forwards in the Association will square off tonight.
Carlos Boozer will try maintain Utah’s perfect home record as Amare Stoudemire and the surging Suns (8-3) pay them a visit. The Jazz, who’ve lost three straight, will likely be playing a desperate brand of basketball.
It will not be easy, however, as injuries continue to wreck havoc in the Utah locker room. Andrei Kirilenko is expected to return to action tonight, but there’s uncertainty regarding Deron Williams and his ankle (which has yet to fully heal.) No word yet on Mehmet Okur’s family situation in Turkey.
Rockets @ Thunder; Spurs @ Clippers: If you have a serious gambling problem, these games are tailor-made for you. I’ll be watching Monday Night Football, thanks.
