Worthy of Your Attention

Cleveland @ Detroit: James and the LeBronnaires (winners of eight in a row) visit Motown to take on the AI-led Pistons. This should be a great matchup.

King has done nothing so far to change the perception that he is, far away, the leading MVP candidate. And thanks to the Cavs’ new-found offense this season, it’ll be hard for anyone to wrestle that award away from him.

Chicago @ Portland: Two young, entertaining squads. Both teams will be looking to bounce back from tough losses, but you can expect plenty of storylines around the play of Derrick Rose and Greg Oden. Oden had a career night against the Warriors, and Rose even drew praise from Phil Jackson in L.A.

Toronto @ Miami: The Raptors wasted a masterful performance from Chris Bosh last night (40 points, 18 rebounds), so they better make it up to him as they march into Miami to take on D-Wade and the Heat.

Speaking of Mr. Wade, he shook off an ankle injury last night, and played well while leading Miami to a win over the hapless Wizards. Tonight, the task will be considerably tougher for Dwyane and his teammates.
