Clippers owners Steve Ballmer and Dennis Wong completed their purchase of The Forum in Inglewood, the team announced on Monday.

The $400 million settlement clears the largest obstacle in the Clippers’ way of building a proposed $1.2 billion arena. The Clippers hope to begin construction by mid-2021.

The Clippers will continue to operate The Forum as a music venue, and expect its California-based staff to remain employees, according to team press release.
