Mavericks Announce Tim Hardaway Suffers Foot Fracture

The Dallas Mavericks announced that Tim Hardaway Jr. suffered a foot fracture on Tuesday midway through the Mavs’ 130-92 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Hardaway went down just five minutes into the second quarter when he went down awkwardly on a drive. Although he was in pain, THJ knocked down his free throws before going back to the locker room to get examined but didn’t return. The injury ended up being a break in the fifth metatarsal bone in his left foot, specifically after he went down awkwardly on a drive.

According to teammate and close friend Kristaps Porzingis, Hardaway is okay after the two spoke after the game.

“He was down at first…But I talked to him now, and he seemed to be in better spirits already.” Porzingis said per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.

Hardaway Jr. is putting up 14.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists this season.
