PHX Leads Series 2-1

After getting into an 0-2 hole here in the 2021 NBA Finals, the Bucks were able to pull out a huge win on their home court. In a game that was ultimately decided by the second quarter, with Milwaukee outscoring Phoenix 35-17, they’re now within one game of making the series even at 2-2. As expected, all it took was the Bucks’ supporting cast stepping up to prove they’re not out of this series.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had yet another 40-point, 10-rebound game, while Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton combined for 39 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds. Bobby Portis was also a huge spark off the bench and finished with a +19 in box plus/minus. On the flip side, nobody on the Suns finished with 20 points, as Chris Paul led the team with 19 points and nine assists. Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton each finished with 18 points, but it wasn’t near enough in the 20-point loss. The series will continue on Wednesday as Game 4 takes place in Milwaukee yet again.
