Post Up: Heart Over Height

Hornets 117 (27-26), Pacers 95 (28-25)

Charlotte won their sixth game in the last seven, but it was overshadowed by Michael Kidd-Gilchrist dislocating the same shoulder that required off-season surgery.

Spurs 98 (45-8), Magic 96 (23-29)

San Antonio played their bench most of the game, and was still able to pick up another W thanks to Kawhi Leonard’s jumper with 0.9 seconds left.

Kings 114 (22-31), 76ers 110 (8-45)

Sacramento finally got a win after a tumultuous week that included rumors of the impending dismissal of George Karl. Rajon Rondo had 14 points, 8 rebounds and 15 assists.

Clippers 134 (35-18), Celtics 139 (32-23)

Isaiah Thomas led the Cs with 36 points (two points off his career-best) and hit a big shot over DeAndre Jordan to send the game into overtime. The Clippers opened up a 6-point lead in the extra session, but Boston quickly erased that deficit.

Grizzlies 109 (31-22), Nets 90 (14-40)

Mike Conley had 20 points for the Grizz, who won easily in their first game without Marc Gasol.

Nuggets 103 (22-32), Pistons 92 (27-27)

The Pistons retired Chauncey Billups’ number at halftime, but it was another one of Billups’ other former teams that came out on top. Denver outscored the Pistons, 51-39, after halftime to earn the win.

Lakers 111 (11-44), Cavs 120 (38-14)

Kobe Bryant and LeBron James shared the same floor in Cleveland for the final time. The Cavs never trailed despite losing Kevin Love with a shoulder injury.

Kyrie stepped up with 35 points in 36 minutes and provided a nice ankle-breaker:

Hawks 113 (31-24), Bulls 90 (27-25)

Nine Atlanta players scored in double figures as the Hawks hand the Bulls their fourth consecutive loss and fifth straight home loss.

Raptors 112 (35-17), T-Wolves 117 (17-37)

Karl-Anthony Towns’ virtuoso performance of 35 points and 11 rebounds rallied Minnesota from 18 points down to a victory.

Jazz 96 (26-26), Pelicans 100 (20-32)

Anthony Davis finished with 19 points, including a big three-pointer with under a minute left.

Warriors 112 (48-4), Suns 104 (14-40)

Golden State’s 11th straight win (and best pre-All-Star record in NBA history) was sadly overshadowed by a bench fight between Markieff Morris and Archie Goodwin.
