Mickael Pietrus Also Taking His Talents to Turkey?

According to Pietrus’ agent, the Phoenix Suns’ forward has been offered a contract by a Turkish team, and he’s also drawing interest in Spain. From PBN: “Phoenix’s Mickael Pietrus, a native of Guadaloupe, is the latest NBA player to receive a contract offer from abroad. An undisclosed team in Turkey has made an offer for the NBA swingman during this uncertain lockout period according to Pietrus’ agent, Bill McCandless. Actively looking for work for his client, McCandless added that he also has three teams in Spain inquiring about Pietrus’ services. ‘Contract in Turkey is firm,’ McCandless told PBN. ‘He hasn’t signed yet and I have to talk with Mike about it.’ The reported deal does have an opt-out clause in case the NBA season resumes play at a reasonable time-frame. Pieturs picked up his $5.3 million option prior to July 1 and is expected to be part of the Suns when the lockout lifts.”
