Post Up: Kemba Hits Eight 3’s as Celtics Win Eighth Straight

Blake Griffin’s return to the court was spoiled as the Pistons fell at home. The All-Star forward put up 19 points in 23 minutes. Andrew Wiggins continued a string of strong performances with a game-high 33 points in the win.

Mavericks 106 (6-4), Celtics 116 (8-1)

Kemba Walker and Luka Doncic went toe-to-toe, but it was Walker’s Celtics who walked away with the win. Kemba finished with 29 points and hit eight 3’s to lead Boston. Doncic poured in 34 points for Dallas.

Grizzlies 113 (3-7), Spurs 109 (5-5)

Jaren Jackson Jr. (24 points) and Dillon Brooks (21 points) stole the win in San Antonio.

After the game, the Spurs celebrated Tony Parker’s jersey retirement.

Rockets 122 (7-3), Pelicans 116 (2-8)

James Harden and Russell Westbrook combined for a blistering 65 points as Houston edged out New Orleans. JJ Redick connected on seven 3’s and contributed 24 points in the loss.

Jazz 122 (7-3), Warriors 108 (2-9)

The short-handed Warriors couldn’t keep up with the Jazz in this one. Utah enjoyed 20+ points from Rudy Gobert (25), Donovan Mitchell (23) and Mike Conley (22). D’Angelo Russell was hot all night, ending with 33 points to lead Golden State.

Raptors 88 (7-3), Clippers 98 (7-3)

A tight game down the stretch ended up in the Clippers’ favor. Los Angeles scored 25 points in the fourth quarter, compared to just 10 points for Toronto in the final frame. Kawhi Leonard almost notched a triple-double, registering 12 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists.
