1-on-1 with Chris Paul at the CP3 Foundation’s 2015 Celebrity Server Dinner (VIDEO)
A few weeks ago SLAM caught up with eight-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul at his celebrity server event in Los Angeles. The Second Annual fundraiser dished up charity in a completely different way—CP3, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and other Clippers players served guests at the famed Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills. Yes, that’s right, the Clippers became celebrity waiters for a night.
Imagine Griffin, known for his monster dunks, delicately pouring your wine at dinner. When we caught up with CP, the NBPA President, and his wife Jada on the red carpet, he told us about preparing for the event by taking a server class, the hardest job he’s ever had and where he got that hilarious banana boat t-shirt.
