Alonzo Mourning: Michael Jordan ‘Would Average Almost 50’ in Today’s NBA (VIDEO)

Former NBA center Alonzo Mourning is convinced that Michael Jordan would be an even more unstoppable offensive force today than he was during his playing days.

Thanks to offense-friendly rules barring defenders from putting their hands on perimeter players, Zo thinks MJ would put up close to 50 points a night—Jordan averaged a career-high 37.1 ppg back in 1986-87.

The always-candid Mourning tells Fox Sports that he would have loved to see LeBron James hoop back in the rough-and-tumble late ’80s and early ’90s.
