Damian Lillard Drops New Rap Song Called ‘Full Stomach’ (AUDIO)

Damian Lillard has been doing work this offseason—in the gym, in the office, and in the studio. He began his summer by agreeing to a five-year, $120 million contract extension with the Blazers. In addition, Lillard headlined the adidas #TakeOnSummerTour, which brought him to Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, where he interacted with fans both on and off the court.

Despite his busy schedule, Lillard continues to pursue a rap career via his (v. popping) SoundCloud page. He dropped his first single about a week ago, rapping over Future’s “F*ck Up Some Commas,” and has spit bars on Sway in the Morning and Conan. Now, Dame DOLLA (Different on Levels the Lord Allows) is back with another rap entitled “Full Stomach” over the infamous “The Food” beat from Common and Kanye. Give it a listen above and check out a sampling of Lillard’s lyrics below:

It’s always room for a real one cuz you can’t finesse the grind
The chatter gets ignored because they hatin from behind
It’s gettin clear they bothered that I’m here
The top in my side mirror .. Closer than it appears
(Yea)

And my peers they know that I don’t fit the stereotype
If I don’t practice what I preach then you can bury me in white
And the fast life infected cuz it’s full of parasites
Fine with sittin on the edge, I never been scared of heights

Married twice to the game … But never to the fame
Flirting on occasion, cuz it double up the change
Never been a sucker for love or for the gain
But I been a fan of reaping the benefits for the pain
