DeMar DeRozan continued his strong play of late Wednesday night, lighting up the visiting Washington Wizards with a season-high 34 points and led the Toronto Raptors to a 94-91 win.

DeRozan made all fifteen free-throw attempts.

The Raptors enjoyed a 55-44 rebounding edge against the Wizards.

Per the AP:

Terrence Ross added 14 points for the Raptors (20-13), who have won three of four. Bismack Biyombo, who started the previous 18 games at center in place of injured Jonas Valanciunas, had 12 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks. […] Valanciunas returned to the lineup after being out with a hand injury. Forward DeMarre Carroll played in his third straight game after being out with a knee contusion.

It had been 18 games since those two started alongside DeRozan, Kyle Lowry and Luis Scola. […] “Every game is going to be a process and I think it’s going to continue to get better,” DeRozan said. “It feels good to be healthy again.”

“We have to do a better job of being the aggressor for 48 (minutes),” Wizards coach Randy Wittman said. “Tonight we weren’t. At the end we were and it made a big difference.”
