For Old Time’s Sake: Otis Thorpe

Otis Thorpe was drafted 9th overall by the Kansas City Kings in 1984 (became the Sacramento Kings in ’85). Over 17 NBA seasons Thorpe averaged 14 pts, 8 boards, and 2 assists. He was an All-Star in 1992 and was an integral part of the Rockets’ Championship run in ’94. He played for 8 different teams and finished his career with over 17,000 points and 10,000 rebounds.
