Kobe Bryant Scores 13 Points in Preseason Debut (VIDEO)

The first shot was an airball, but after that, it was smooth sailing for Kobe Bryant in his preseason debut.

Bryant finished with 13 points and five assists in 21 minutes of action, as the Los Angeles Lakers nabbed a 98-95 win over the Denver Nuggets.

Per the OC Register:

It had been 10 months since Bryant broke a bone in his left knee; 18 since his left Achilles tendon snapped like a rubber band. And, here, five minutes into his first game back, Bryant, 36, was diving into the seats.

Bryant, who has brushed off concerns about his health throughout training camp, reiterated what he’s said all along, that he felt “fine.” […] But then there was this: “Felt like I could do anything I wanted.”

“This is the healthiest I’ve been in a couple years,” he said. “Three years maybe.”
