The Miami Heat got their title rings — which are very big and gaudy things — during a ceremony prior to last night’s season opener. Oh, and shouts to NBA Commissioner David Stern for flubbing his opening remarks (mistaking Hurricane Sandy for Hurricane Katrina.)
