Paul George is Dunking Again (VIDEO)

After watching Paul George go down in a heap, with a bone gruesomely sticking out of his right leg back in August, it was hard to imagine the All-Star forward standing up (let alone throwing down dunks again.)

George, despite the odds, is fiercely determined to suit up for the Indiana Pacers this season.

And he’s moved beyond tossing up jumpers; PG is now getting back above the rim.

From the Pacers’ team website:

While working in a post-up drill following Thursday’s practice at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, George threw down a reverse dunk.

George has been shooting following practice for the past couple of months and David West said that George dunked in front of his teammates when the team was in Portland in December.

The Pacers have no plans to rush George back before he’s ready. While George has publicly expressed hope that he could play this season, Pacers head coach Frank Vogel has repeatedly told the media that it is highly unlikely that George sees any game action this year. Vogel reiterated that opinion as recently as Tuesday when an out-of-town reporter inquired about George during pregame media availability.
