Q+A: Jrue Holiday (VIDEO)

While much of this season’s focus has been devoted to who hasn’t played for the Sixers, Jrue Holiday has given the organization reason to be optimistic. The first-time All-Star is recording career-highs in points, assists and rebounds, and his 20 double-doubles this season are more than he tallied in his first three years combined.

After making the Playoffs the past two seasons, the Sixers will have a long offseason to regroup. With Andrew Bynum as a free agent, the club will have to determine whether to invest in the eighth-year center, who missed the entire season due to knee injuries.

Holiday, the only member of the team signed through ’16-17, has shown poise and promise during a trying season. He caught up with SLAMonline before Friday’s game against the Hawks to talk about his first All-Star appearance, growth as a point guard, and the value of Playoff experience.
