Stephen Curry Scores 33 Points in Game 4 Win vs Memphis (VIDEO)

The MVP regained his shooting touch Monday night, as Stephen Curry led the Golden State Warriors to a critical 101-84 Game 4 victory in Memphis, scoring 33 points to go along with eight rebounds and five assists.

The second round series is all knotted up at two games apiece for the Warriors and Grizzlies, and heading back to The Bay for an all-important Game 5 Wednesday night.

Steph had struggled with his shot of late, only making 4-of-21 three-point attempts in Games 2 and 3; he regained the stroke by shooting 11-of-22 from the field in Game 4.

Per the San Fran Chronicle:

Draymond Green posted 16 points and 10 rebounds, Klay Thompson had 15 points and Harrison Barnes added 12 points and six rebounds. Andrew Bogut had nine rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocked shots, and Andre Iguodala came off the bench to score 11 points.

“We were more composed tonight,” Curry said. “We weren’t rushing. We have so many threats, and when the ball moves and finds open shots, that’s when you knock down shots. As long as there’s another game, you’ve got an opportunity to do something better, to play better. That was the focus.”

The Warriors’ defense, which had been playing OK, verged on the spectacular in Game 4. After watching the complete video of Game 3 as a team Sunday, the Warriors decided to defend Zach Randolph with Barnes and Marc Gasol with Green. That allowed Bogut to play a rim-protecting zone and left open offensively challenged Tony Allen, who was tempted into shooting jumpers. […] Memphis got 19 points, 10 rebounds and six assists from Gasol, and 12 points and 11 rebounds from Randolph, but the Grizzlies shot just 37.5 percent from the floor and 22.2 percent from three-point range.
