#TBT: Detlef Schrempf

The do-it-all wing's finest moments.

Detlef Schrempf was the type of dude you would have loved to play pickup ball with. For 16 years, his balanced game allowed him to sprinkle in some good stuff here and there, making him the ideal complementary piece. He peaked statistically with the Pacers in the 1992-93 season, when he posted 19 points, 9.5 boards and 6 assists per game. He then went to Seattle, where he squeezed in between Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton for four beautiful seasons (before Kemp left in ’97).
