WATCH: Blake Griffin Goes For 26 Points and 13 Boards Against the Bulls

The Los Angeles Clippers own the League’s best record at 12-2 and Blake Griffin is making an early case for MVP consideration with averages of 21.6 points, 9.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Last night against the Bulls, Blake went off for 26 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and one huge dunk on Robin Lopez.

“The last time I had gotten it, I think CP had hit me on a roll, and I went up against Lopez and kind of threw up a bad shot,” Griffin told ESPN about the dunk after the game. “And the next timeout, [Clippers coach] Doc [Rivers] said, ‘Go through him. Don’t try to go around him. Don’t try to do all that [contortion].’ So we got what we wanted in the pick-and-roll and, you know, just tried to take it hard, like Doc said.

“So at the next timeout, I was like, ‘Is that better?'”
