WATCH: Charles Barkley Tells Warriors Fans to ‘Shut the Hell Up’

The Golden State Warriors forcefully debunked a myth that Charles Barkley has, for years, loudly proclaimed as an iron-clad truth: jump-shooting NBA teams can’t win the championship.

You’re not gonna believe this—wait, yes you will—but Barkley is sticking to his guns.

Sir Charles took part in a celebrity golf tournament last weekend, and playfully asked Warriors fans to “shut the hell up.”

Per the Contra Costa Times:

The TNT analyst apparently couldn’t go anywhere during the tournament without fans reminding him about his long-held belief that Golden State couldn’t win an NBA title with its style of play. […] “The only thing that’s been annoying is all these Golden State Warriors fans who want to talk so much now, talk about jump shooting teams,” Barkley said during an NBC interview with Steve Sands.

Barkley, as is his style, was in a joking mood when airing his complaints.

“You know they had a great year with Steph (Curry) and Klay (Thompson), a great year,” he said. “But (the fans) don’t have to keep saying it over and over again. It’s annoying.”
