WATCH: Gregg Popovich Yells at a Ref and Gets Ejected

Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich lost his mind Monday night about a lack of calls in the paint, stalking a referee and getting predictably tossed.

Check out the courtside footage of Pop’s uncensored eruption in the clip above.

Nevertheless, San Antonio held off the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves 101-95.

Per the Express-News and AP:

As things heated up late in the first half, YouTube user Hal Peters had his camera rolling at the perfect time to catch the coaches’ tirade against the officials, which started at the baseline and continued onto the court. […] The beloved Spurs coach is easily heard in Peters’ 41-second recording shouting, “Blow your goddamn whistle, will you? Blow your goddamn whistle,” at official Lauren Holtkamp, who in turn slapped him with a technical.

The Spurs needed an emotional and physical lift against the tenacious Minnesota Timberwolves, and they got it on the massive shoulders of 7-foot-3 rookie Boban Marjanovic. […] Marjanovic scored 17 points on 7-for-7 shooting, helping San Antonio hold off Minnesota 101-95 on Monday night to remain undefeated at home.

San Antonio joined the 1978 Portland Trail Blazers and 1986 Houston Rockets as the only Western Conference teams to open a season 18-0 at home. […] Kawhi Leonard had 17 points and 11 rebounds, but his production was basically a wash as he battled Andrew Wiggins. Minnesota’s athletic guard had 18 points and six rebounds.
