by November 24, 2015

Having recovered from a left hamstring strain, Kevin Durant was back in the Thunder’s lineup Monday night, and led OKC to a 111-89 road blowout of the Utah Jazz.

Durant also added six rebounds.

The former MVP shot 10 of 13 from the field in 30 minutes of action.

Per the AP:

It was Durant’s first game since he strained his left hamstring in the second quarter of a 125-101 victory at Washington on Nov. 10. The All-Star forward played the whole first quarter against Utah and scored 11 points.

“When I was ready to get back on the court physically, I was there putting my work in making sure my body was ready, my fundamentals were right,” Durant said. “I just have the mindset that, no matter what, I just pick up where I left off. I think that is what separates good players from great players, is that mindset.”

Russell Westbrook narrowly missed his third triple-double of the season with 20 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. […] The Thunder (9-6) ran away with the game in the second quarter, outscoring the Jazz 40-26 and shooting 14 for 19 from the field.
