They don’t get to see us live,” James said. “A place like here and obviously Ohio State is always a favorite of mine and other cities that we’ve been to and I’ve been to in my career. It’s a treat for the fans here at Xavier to get an opportunity to watch us live.”

“I just noticed her, that’s all,” James said. “I just noticed her. She actually told me I met her when she was 10-years old, I believe she’s 13 now and I gave her my shoes. So, I guess I noticed her back then as well.”

James explained the selfie as him “just being cordial with the fans. […] “Like I said, these guys (in Cincinnati) don’t get an opportunity to see us all the time so it just popped in my head,” he said.
