A game after sitting with a sore left ankle, Curry scored a game-high 33 points, but he was just 5-of-15 from three-point range. (Shaun) Livingston had 11 points and eight assists to zero turnovers as the Warriors outscored the Thunder by 17 points in his 20½ minutes during an otherwise back-and-forth game. […] “They have a good team, but I think we have a deeper team,” Livingston said. “We all try to come in and do our jobs and hopefully overwhelm them over a 48-minute game.”
Livingston, surrounded by reserves, led a 7-0 run to start the fourth quarter to give the Warriors an 89-83 lead they would never relinquish in a game that nearly lived up to Saturday’s epic and made fans pine for a Western Conference finals matchup between the teams in May. [..] The Warriors (55-5) led for the final 11:45 in a game that was tied 15 times and included 15 lead changes. They tied the NBA’s all-time streak for consecutive home wins during the regular season, matching the 44 accomplished by the Chicago Bulls from March 30, 1995 to April 4, 1996.
“Fifty games over .500. I mean, it’s crazy,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said. “You can’t even dream this stuff up, but it’s been that kind of season for us.”
