2013 NYC Mayor’s Cup All-Star Games Rosters Announced

From our friends at the NYC Mayor’s Cup:

NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, encourages all New Yorkers to attend the 2013 NYC Mayor’s Cup Basketball All-Star Games on Friday, April 5. For the first time in 50 years, seniors from the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) will compete against seniors from the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) in an officially sanctioned all-star basketball competition for the title of “Best in the City.”

“The NYC Mayor’s Cup series celebrates the dedication and hard work of the City’s student athletes,” said George Fertitta, CEO of NYC & Company. “This year we are proud to bring together the PSAL’s and CHSAA’s best high school seniors for a game that will be one for the history books.”

The doubleheader will take place at Baruch College Gymnasium, on 55 Lexington Ave. (at 24th Street), with the girls game starting at 5pm, followed immediately by the boys game at 7pm. Tickets for both games can be purchased at the door for $5; 50 percent of proceeds support the PSAL and CHSAA sports programs.

This year fans can watch live streaming video of the NYC Mayor’s Cup Basketball All-Star Games. To watch the game and for more information and a complete schedule of NYC Mayor’s Cup events, visit facebook.com/nycmayorscup.
