Devin Harris Inks 4-Year $16 Million Deal With the Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks announced Thursday that they have brought back Devin Harris. The four-year pact is reportedly worth about $16.55 million. Per the Star-Telegram:

After missing half of last season following off-season foot surgery, Harris, 31, averaged 7.9 points and 4.5 assists in 20.5 minutes per game in the second half of the season. He also was the point guard the Mavs turned to on numerous occasions during crunch time.

The Mavs would like to continue having Harris in a backup point guard role. That means he would be playing behind newcomer Raymond Felton, who was recently acquired in a trade with the New York Knicks.
