Kenneth Faried May Dunk a Bowling Ball in the Dunk Contest

Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried isn’t favored to win this year’s NBA Dunk Contest, so perhaps he feels the need to create an edge for himself during the aerial showcase. Which might explain why he may or may not dunk a bowling ball. Yes, you read that correctly. Per the Denver Post: “It’s not really a big issue right now,’ Faried said. ‘I’m more worried about games than I am about dunks. That’s all I’m focused on. We’ve got these road games, that’s more important than my dunk contest. I want to win these road games, and I’ll get my focus on that when I get to All-Star.’ However, there has been talk he was planning a bowling ball dunk of some sort. Faried acknowledged that, but said ‘I thought about that, but I haven’t practiced it or anything. I really don’t know if I’m going to do it or not. I don’t want to end up injured from a dunk contest.'”
