Luis Scola Signs One-Year Deal With the Toronto Raptors

Veteran forward Luis Scola is headed north, having agreed to a reported one-year deal with the Toronto Raptors worth $3 million.

Scola, 35, was a serviceable and durable piece for the Indiana Pacers last season, appearing in eighty-one games and averaging 9.4 points and 6.5 rebounds.

In other Raptors news, they announced Thursday morning that journeyman guard Luke Ridnour—who’s been bounced around in roughly 300 trades this offseason—has been waived.
