Michigan State Still No. 1 in Both NCAA Polls

College basketball is in that weird period where student-athletes are done with final exams in the fall/winter semester and teams are coasting into conference play against less-than-spectacular opponents. As such, the latest AP and Coaches polls are largely unchanged from last week—Michigan State still has a stranglehold on the No. 1 spot in the country, its top two challengers are from the Big 12 (Oklahoma and Kansas), and outside of one team in the AP Poll and two teams in the Coaches, all of the teams stayed the same.
