Pistons to Re-Sign Jonas Jerebko at 4 Years, $16 Million

After locking up Tayshaun Prince, Pistons GM Joe Dumars agreed to terms with forward Jonas Jerebko. From the Detroit Free Press: “With training camp expected to open Friday and only eight players under contract, Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars had some work to do. So he rolled up his sleeves and free-agent forwards Tayshaun Prince and Jonas Jerebko agreed to return to the Pistons today, according a source with personal knowledge of the situation. It didn’t stop there. Negotiations were ongoing with restricted free-agent point guard Rodney Stuckey. Big man Ben Wallace underwent a physical, which means he’s ready to return as well. But while Pistons fans were content with Jerebko, a restricted free agent, agreeing to a four-year, $16-million deal, some didn’t seem happy with Prince’s four-year, $27-million deal — at least not in reactions on Twitter.”
