The fight took place around 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot at the NC Music Factory outside of the Label night club where a party hosted by the Los Angeles Clippers star guard had just wrapped up. Jamie Patrice Thomas, wife of Charlotte Bobcats forward Tyrus Thomas, was one of four women arrested during the altercation. Thomas and three other women tried to rob another woman of her cell phone and purse before hitting a security guard at the scene, according to the police report. When officers arrived, Thomas was in a car in the parking lot and tried to leave the scene, hitting a security guard with her car for the second time, police said. Charlotte police then had to force Thomas, 26, out of the vehicle. ‘Officers gained entry to the vehicle by breaking the driver window. Officers were able to open the door after breaking the window,’ CMPD said in a statement. ‘A female inside of the vehicle, Shassity Stevenson, began pulling Thomas back inside of the vehicle away from the officers. During the struggle officers had to utilize force in order to extract Thomas from the vehicle via the driver’s side door of the vehicle.’ Thomas was taken to Carolinas Medical Center to receive treatment before being taken to jail.”
