Tyus Jones Named Summer League MVP

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Tyus Jones had an impressive run out in Vegas, including a 29-point, 6-assist outing against the Suns on Sunday afternoon, and has been named Summer League MVP.

Jones averaged 19.4 points, 6.3 assists, 4 boards and 1.3 steals over the course of the summer season. The point guard out of Duke is entering his second year and his strong summer gives new Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau plenty of options at the point between Jones, rookie Kris Dunn, and veteran Ricky Rubio.

The Wolves will face the Bulls in the Summer League championship game tonight.
