If you haven’t caught a WNBA game this season, you’re missing out. The โ€œThree to Seeโ€ have all made great strides in their games, and for the first time, all three are in the top 10 in the WNBA MVP Rankings. Maya Moore and Lindsay Whalen picked up right where they left off, as the defending champs are 7-0 to start the year. Itโ€™s too early to lock in the sure fire MVP, but the picture for the game’s most prestigious award is already coming into focus.

Griner has shown tremendous growth in her second season in the WNBA. On the defensive side of the ball, she is changing the way teams play, swatting over 4.2 shots per night. With that gift comes the curse of getting in foul trouble, as Griner is also averaging 4 fouls a night. If Griner can find a way to stay on the floor more, she could rise up the MVP ranks with ease.
