With time running out in the fourth quarter of Monday night’s Kings-Blazers tilt, Damian Lillard split a double-team and soared to the hoop for the game-clinching jam.

Lillard Time proved too much for visiting Sacramento, as Portland turned them away 98-94.

Dame finished with a game-high 22 points, but it wasn’t all good news as LaMarcus Aldridge injured his left hand in the first quarter.

Per The Columbian:

Lillard then split a pick and roll, made a bee-line for the rim and packed it over the entire Kings team to put Portland up by 3 with 34 seconds left.

“Before I even came off (the screen),” Lillard said “I pretty much made my mind up that he’s going to sprint out here, I’m going to fake like I’m going to go and I’m going to split between them.”

The Blazers missed (three) free-throws in the final 40 seconds, including two from Lillard, but it didn’t matter as the Kings’ crunch time offense came to a halt.
