A strange scene went down on Saturday night during the Hawks-Rockets game, as you can see in the video above. Officials had to remove a ball from game action due to a sticky substance that Dwight Howard later admitted he applied. You can see Paul Millsap take the ball from the official and immediately look at it like, “WTF?”

The refs replaced the ball immediately, and didn’t penalize Howard at all.

Here’s what Millsap told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution about it:

“I’ve never felt the ball like that ever,” Millsap said after the game. “It was sticky. It was like super glue or something was on there. I couldn’t get it off my hands. It was the weirdest thing ever.”

The NBA is reportedly looking into the matter. Although after the game, Dwight Howard had an interesting comment on the whole incident…
