WATCH: Every Basket from Stephen Curry’s 46-Point Explosion

Stephen Curry continued his torrid shooting Thursday night, detonating for 46 points in the Golden State Warriors’ 129-116 road win against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The defending champs are now off to a franchise-best 10-0 start.

The reigning MVP made 15 of 25 shot attempts, including eight of thirteen from beyond the arc.

Per the San Fran Chronicle:

The Warriors pulled off the 10-game winning streak to start the season – a franchise record and something that had been accomplished only 13 other times in the history of the league. But this squad has learned to be greedy and always wants more. […] “Anytime you can do something that hasn’t been done in franchise history, it’s huge,” Curry said. “It doesn’t mean we’ve won the championship or anything like that, but it’s definitely a good start to the season. We just want to keep it going.”

Knowing these guys, the Warriors are probably thinking about something much, much bigger. The most important thing is winning the 2016 title, but these players are aware of hoops history. The 1995-96 Bulls’ record of 72 wins has to be on their periphery, and to a man, they all say, “We’re just trying to win every game we play.”

Before the game, Minnesota clarified that (Ricky) Rubio’s injury was actually a “mild left hamstring strain.” But the Timberwolves had no chance of defending Curry without Rubio, who is tied for No. 6 in the league with 2.3 steals per game. […] Minnesota trotted out second-year player Zach LaVine and 39-year-old Andre Miller against Curry, who added five rebounds, four assists and two steals to his 46 points. The Timberwolves had their best luck when Andrew Wiggins defended Curry, but no one can stop the MVP right now.
