Ben Uzoh Signs With French Team Cholet


Free agent point guard Ben Uzoh, who played with the Toronto Raptors last season, has agreed to play for French Team Cholet. Uzoh averaged 4.8 points, 3.7 assists and 3.9 rebounds in 16 games with Toronto. Via EuroBasket.com: “Uzoh started the season with Lokomotiv Kuban and after two games moved to the New Jersey Nets. However, he did not appear in any official game with them and later moved to the NBA D-League team Rio Grande Valley Vipers. There Uzoh shined with 14.9 ppg, 5.9 rpg and 3.9 apg for 20 appearances. After that the player moved to Cleveland Cavs, where he had 2 ppg and 2 rpg and finally signed with Toronto in March. In 2010/11 season Ben Uzoh had 3.9 ppg, 1.7 apg and 1.5 rpg in 41 NBA games with New Jersey. He graduated at the University of Tulsa two years ago.”
