by December 05, 2012

The first two NBA players fined for flopping are both Brooklyn Nets. Gerald Wallace joined teammate Reggie Evans in being financially dinged for what the League considered a flop (video of the offending play can be seen here.) The next fine would cost Wallace $10,000. The NBA also announced today that Chauncey Billups received a flopping warning: “Gerald Wallace of the Brooklyn Nets violated the league’s anti-flopping rules for the second time during the Nets vs. Heat game on Dec. 1, he has been fined $5,000.”
